About The Position

NYC Kids RISE is seeking a talented Deputy Director of Social Media to lead its social media strategy. The organization aims to advance its mission and goals by building online community and driving engagement with diverse stakeholders. This role will involve showcasing impact through co-creative storytelling and establishing the organization's field-leading voice nationally. NYC Kids RISE has developed a universal community wealth-building platform for New York City neighborhoods. Through its Program, nearly every public school student in NYC receives an NYC Scholarship Account, with money invested in a 529 college savings plan and opportunities to earn more. The Program expands access to financial products, builds assets, provides financial education, and fosters collaboration to support children's futures. It serves as a model for generational wealth building and economic opportunity, particularly for families facing financial barriers. A recent significant investment has increased the initial seed scholarship, presenting a window of opportunity to realize a bold vision for NYC kids.
