Reporting to the Director of Prison and Operations Maintenance, this position supports the administration of the statewide public works program for the Department of Corrections (DOC). This Position will provide senior administrative management and oversight of all Prison facilities plant maintenance and operations functions. This position will primarily concentrate on overseeing complex projects that facilities are unable to manage autonomously due to limitations in the skills and capabilities of lead staff to effectively complete them. This position has statewide responsibility to provide leadership and statewide management support and coordination for 9 facility plant managers and maintenance departments to implement, coordinate and sustain the facilities life safety systems, sanitation systems, maintenance, efficiency in the sustainability of the Ecology Processes and operations program on a division-wide level. This position will also directly supervisor two warm closed prisons to include: Larch Corrections Center (LCC) and Mission Creek Corrections Center for Women (MCCCW).
