Deputy Director of Long-Term Services and Support (LTSS)
About The Position
The Deputy Director of Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) oversees the coordination and oversight in the delivery of health care services across various LTSS program areas. This position plays a key role in developing strategy, managing program areas, and contributing in the critical decisions around the future of Medicaid. This Deputy Director role is a direct report to the Chief Clinical Officer working closely with all members of leadership, employees, and key stakeholders both internal and external to DHB.
Requirements
- Graduation from a four year college or university with a degree in business or public administration or in a field related to DHHS programs, and five years of managerial and/or administrative experience in the public or private sectors involving significant decision-making authority in the planning, organizing, and directing in an area related to the above-mentioned programs; OR
- an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in analyzing and implementing National or State Health Policy for Medicaid programs
- Experience either as a direct health care provider, a manager in a healthcare system, or a manager in a healthcare-related governmental operation
- Experience designing and implementing program and organizational improvement initiatives
