The New York City District Council of Carpenters Benefit Funds (NYCDCCBF) administers a comprehensive portfolio of benefit programs—including pension, health, annuity, and training—for thousands of union members and their families across the New York metropolitan area. The Funds are committed to delivering high-quality, efficient, and secure services to participants while maintaining strong fiduciary oversight and operational excellence. Technology plays a critical role in supporting these objectives—from member services and claims processing to financial systems, compliance, and reporting. The Deputy Director of Information Technology is a senior leadership role responsible for supporting and advancing the Funds’ technology strategy while ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of all IT systems and infrastructure. Working closely with the Director of IT and executive leadership, this role will oversee day-to-day IT operations while helping guide longer-term modernization efforts, including infrastructure improvements, cybersecurity enhancements, and expanded use of data and automation. This position is ideal for a leader who can operate both strategically and hands-on, balancing operational excellence with forward-looking improvements in systems, processes, and tools.
