About The Position

Under the general direction of the Director of Athletics, the Associate Director of Athletics/Deputy Title IX Coordinator serves as a strategic Athletics leader for advancing Inclusive Excellence, access, and belonging across the Department of Athletics, while fulfilling the responsibilities of the Department’s Deputy Title IX Coordinator. Collaborate with the Office of Inclusive Excellence, Office of Title IX/DHR, and other campus partners to advance equitable and inclusive practices, programs, policies, and student-athlete experiences. Integrate principles of equity, inclusion, and Inclusive Excellence into departmental strategic planning and decision-making, while ensuring alignment with Title IX requirements and university, CSU, NCAA, and CCAA policies and priorities. This position serves on the senior management team, as a point of contact for campus support services, and will serve as a member of the campus Clery team. This position may have other program administration duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Administrator II classification
  • Must work in person on campus.
  • Must be a 'mandated reporter' under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act.
  • Must comply with CSU Executive Order 1083 Revised July 21, 2017.
  • Must file Conflict of Interest forms subject to the regulations of the Fair Political Practices Commission.
  • Must not have received a final administrative or judicial decision determining they have committed sexual harassment within the last 7 years (disclosed after meeting minimum qualifications).
  • Must sign a release form authorizing the release of information by current and/or former employers concerning any substantiated allegations of misconduct (at final stages of application process).
