About The Position

The Deputy Commissioning Manager joins a collaborative team delivering commissioning and start-up (CSU) services to clients, leading the critical transition of a semiconductor fabrication facility from construction to full-scale manufacturing operations. The role is accountable for planning, coordinating, and executing commissioning and system start-up activities for the facility base build, ensuring systems and infrastructure meet design intent, operational requirements, and readiness criteria for tool installation and production. From project inception, the role partners with Project Controls and Construction to integrate commissioning logic into the master schedule, align construction sequencing with system start-up, and plan phased turnover. It develops commissioning strategies, sequences, turnover plans, and cleanroom readiness strategies; leads commissioning, start-up, testing, performance verification, troubleshooting, documentation, and turnover; and supports operational readiness, process-tool integration, ramp-up, and facility-system stabilization. The role also coordinates with client stakeholders and project teams, communicates status and risks, supports performance reviews and improvement, scopes project drawings, and completes the RASCI matrix. The job posting also emphasizes collaboration, audience-appropriate communication, customer focus, timely decision-making, problem-solving, and serving as a positive role model who motivates others.
