Cook County Bureau of Finance is seeking an experienced Deputy Chief Procurement Officer, Procurement Services who will oversee daily procurement operations across all sourcing and operational units within the department. The role provides guidance to senior and department leadership on procurement policies, procedures, and activities to ensure alignment with the Cook County Procurement Code and internal standards. Responsibilities include directing, coordinating, and supervising procurement staff to ensure accurate execution of duties and fulfillment of departmental and regulatory objectives. The position also supports leadership in developing strategic direction, budgeting, and implementing procurement policies and procedures, collaborates with bureaus, departments, and elected offices on procurement matters, and serves as the principal deputy to the Chief Procurement Officer for sourcing and operations.
