Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Drivers License for at least 2 years
Repeatedly lift and carry coffee and bottled water products weighing up to 50 pounds
Ability to climb in and out of delivery vehicle multiple times per day.
Ability to use a hand cart to move products and equipment.

Nice To Haves

Route experience preferred
Technician/Equipment repair experience preferred
Past driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Overseeing the daily work of Route Driver, Service Technicians and Warehouse employees.
Serving as back up to Route Drivers, Service Technicians and Branch Manager.
Ensuring all Route Drivers are loaded and ready to start routes on time each morning.
Ensuring drivers rotate product regularly and manage par levels.
Performing at least four quality control checks per route each month.
Working with Branch Manager to maximize route efficiency.
Ensuring all Service Technicians are loaded and ready to start service calls on time each morning.
Overseeing daily pulling of products and guaranteeing warehouse pulls are made so routes are ready for the next workday.
Collaborating with Customer Service team in overseeing daily field operations and with Sales Department to coordinate installs and equipment needed.
Overseeing proper completion of all end of day paperwork by Route Drivers and Service Technicians.
Setting clear daily equipment repair objectives for refurbishing.
Keeping overtime work by operations employees to a minimum.
Instructing drivers, technicians, and warehouse employees in safe operation of equipment and vehicles, and use of proper loading and lifting techniques, so as to avoid injuries. Following all accident reporting requirements.
Making sure warehouse is kept clean and tidy.
Ensuring all trucks are kept clean (inside and out), organized, and routinely maintained. Addressing vehicle problems and repairs, as needed. Maintaining security of company vehicles and equipment.
Providing route relief and/or service work during vacations, extended leaves, or other absences.
Keeping Branch Manager informed of parts and equipment needs.
Addressing any problems between employees and promptly escalating significant employee or customer issues to management.
Complying with and enforcing all First Choice policies and procedures, including but not limited to those contained in the Company’s Employee Handbook.
Performing additional duties as assigned by management.
