The Depot Manager / Senior Logistician is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing logistics and supply chain activities in support of Department of Defense (DoD) programs. This role supports the full lifecycle of logistics operations, including provisioning, spares management, shipping and receiving, transportation coordination, maintenance and repair planning, depot operations, and Integrated Product Support (IPS). The position oversees the flow of materials, products, services, and logistics information to ensure mission readiness and customer support requirements are achieved. Responsibilities include managing inventory and material tracking, coordinating import/export activities, ensuring compliance with federal and international shipping regulations, and supporting lifecycle maintenance and sustainment activities for major systems and equipment. This role requires strong knowledge of DoD logistics principles, supply chain management, and program execution processes, along with the ability to independently resolve complex logistics challenges and implement process improvements. The individual may serve as a primary customer interface, utilize logistics information systems for tracking and reporting activities, and provide guidance and mentorship to junior logistics personnel.
