About The Position
The Depot Egg Room Associate is responsible for verifying egg counts, managing paperwork, preparing orders for shipping, and maintaining accurate physical inventory. This role involves communication with drivers, contract growers, management, and hatchery personnel. The position requires flexible night hours.
Requirements
- Must be able to work flexible hours at night.
Responsibilities
- Verify egg counts picked up from farms and enter them into the computer system.
- Perform and maintain all paperwork associated with customer orders.
- Pull together eggs for customer orders and prepare them for shipping, ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time.
- Communicate with drivers and contract growers regarding egg pickups.
- Maintain open communication with management and hatchery personnel.
- Responsible for maintaining correct physical inventory.
