About The Position

The Depot Egg Room Associate is responsible for verifying egg counts picked up from farms and entering them into the computer system. This role involves allocating eggs to specific customer orders, performing and maintaining all associated paperwork, and preparing eggs for shipping to ensure accurate and timely order processing. The associate will also communicate with drivers and contract growers regarding egg pickups and maintain open communication with management, hatchery personnel, and production planning. A key responsibility is maintaining correct physical inventory.

Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours at night.
• Standard shift is from 3:00pm to 1:00am.
• Proficiency in entering data into a computer system.
• Ability to perform and maintain paperwork.
• Skills in preparing eggs for shipping.
• Effective communication with drivers, contract growers, management, hatchery personnel, and production planning.
• Responsibility for maintaining correct physical inventory.

Responsibilities

• Verify egg counts picked up from farms and enter into the computer system.
• Allocate eggs to specific customer orders.

• Pull together eggs for customer orders and prepare eggs for shipping.
• Ensure orders are processed in an accurate and timely manner.
