About The Position

The Depot Egg Room Associate is responsible for verifying egg counts picked up from farms and entering them into the computer system. This role involves allocating eggs to specific customer orders, performing and maintaining all paperwork associated with customer orders, and preparing eggs for shipping to ensure accurate and timely processing. The associate will also communicate with drivers regarding egg pickups and maintain open communication with management, hatchery personnel, and production planning. A key responsibility is maintaining correct physical inventory.

Responsibilities

• Verify egg counts picked up from farms and entering into computer system.
• Allocate eggs to specific customer orders.
• Perform and maintain all paperwork associated with customer orders.
• Pull together eggs for customer orders and prepare them for shipping, ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time.
• Communicate with drivers regarding egg pickups.
• Maintain open communications with management, hatchery personnel, and production planning.
• Responsible for maintaining correct physical inventory.
