About The Position

This job is responsible for reviewing and pricing products and services. Key responsibilities include analyzing the profitability of a client and/or specific product or service, developing and implementing pricing recommendations and working closely with Product Managers on pricing strategies. Job expectations include applying technical knowledge of pricing strategies and models, communicating effectively with sales officers to address questions and issues, and coordination of required senior management approvals. The Deposit Product Pricing Manager has responsibility for pricing strategy, execution, reporting, and control monitoring efforts for Deposit products. This role will support Deposit fee and interest rate strategies with a focus on enhancing client experience, reducing risk, and improving efficiency. This individual will collaborate with leaders across multiple products and key support areas such as Risk, Finance, and Technology.

Requirements

  • Extensive technical or functional knowledge of pricing strategies and models
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and data mining skills
  • Experience generating and editing complex SQL queries and building automated reporting solutions
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, adaptable to ever-changing requirements
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Must be able to concisely summarize key observations, clearly articulate considerations, propose solutions.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently
  • Ability to identify key successes and opportunities, and deliver recommendations based on findings
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Supports the development of pricing and profitability strategies in partnership with Senior Pricing Manager
  • Analyzes and distills large quantity of data to help inform strategic direction or decision
  • Assists with identification and implementation of enhancements to pricing structure
  • Coordinates with Senior Pricing Manager to communicate pricing strategy and impacts to financials, profit and loss (P&L) activities, such as revenue and profit margins
  • Engages with relevant partners and stakeholders to address questions about pricing strategy
  • Remediates pricing errors or issues thoroughly
  • Assess financial, compliance, client experience implications of pricing strategy changes
  • Lead successful implementation of key initiatives, ensuring alignment to overall strategy
  • Support product control efforts, including management of Deposit pricing performance metrics
  • Provide ongoing analysis and review of key pricing performance metrics with leaders in various organizations
  • Understand competitive and regulatory pricing environment, support strategies that enhance the client experience, reduce risk, and enable responsible growth
