About The Position

The Deposit Operations Specialist is responsible for processing all deposit operations related items including items processing, incoming and outgoing wires, review mobile capture items, and interdepartmental operational support.

Requirements

• Background in bank operations, including retail and back-office area
• Excellent communication skills, knowledge of Word and Excel applications
• 2 years of operational or branch experience
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Well organized with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to assist front end staff and branches in a friendly and knowledgeable manner

Responsibilities

• Support daily exceptions processing including incoming, outgoing returns and non -post
• Follow established procedures surrounding the process of Domestic and International incoming and outgoing wires.
• Review mobile deposited checks while adhering to Northern Bank guidelines and endorsement requirements
• Provide support to internal resources such as responding to inquiries, conducting research and conducting deposit account maintenance and monetary transactions
• Respond to account verification requests
• Cross train to perform other functions as required
• Perform other duties as assigned
