About The Position

Responsible for completing the administrative and clerical functions for the operations/back-office department of the bank. This role involves verifying reports, processing various financial items, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies. The position requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED and 1 year experience in a clerical related field; OR Associate Degree and 0 years’ experience in clerical related field

Responsibilities

  • Verify RMS reports, including checking for RMS documentation and saving with the report.
  • Verify Reg E, Dormant, CD maintenance, ATS, and Stop Pay reports.
  • Maintain, document, and properly store deposit records using the current record retention schedule.
  • Process Savings Bonds and Foreign Items.
  • Compile POD EOD Sending Bank Summary report.
  • Work Research & Adjustments, including working Summons and Subpoenas that the bank receives.
  • Process branch capture work.
  • Provide back up to other Deposit Operations Specialists.
  • Maintain detailed records on all work responsibilities.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of the Bank’s customers.
  • Remain current on and adhere to all regulatory requirements and training.
  • Adhere to all deposit related policies and procedures, including periodic updates and maintenance of individual procedures.
