Deployment Strategist

VitalizeSan Francisco, CA
$150,000 - $200,000Hybrid

About The Position

Vitalize is building the labor and capacity operating system for health systems, forecasting demand, matching staff to it automatically, and coordinating patients across the hospital. The impact is real: saving hospitals millions in labor spend, giving clinical leaders back time, and retaining staff and leaders. This role is part of the Deployment Team, which is scaling Vitalize's deployment motion from 30 to 300+ hospitals. This team owns complex, high-stakes enterprise rollouts that directly shape new product lines and expansions, unlocking multi-million-dollar ARR, long-term customer success, and measurable ROI.

Requirements

  • Clear Communicator - You communicate with clarity and confidence across every audience, from frontline clinicians to C-suite executives. You simplify complex ideas, navigate difficult conversations, and build alignment through thoughtful, proactive communication.
  • Detailed Project & Deployment Management - You excel at managing complex, cross-functional deployments from planning through go-live. You anticipate risks, prioritize effectively, and bring structure to ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Ability to Build Trust with Nurses, Physicians, and Hospital Staff - You approach customers as a consultative partner, not just a project manager. You listen first, seek to understand clinical workflows, and earn credibility by solving problems alongside the people doing the work every day.
  • Ability to Drive Change Management & Influence Adoption - You recognize that successful deployments are driven by people, not just technology. You can identify resistance, build buy-in across diverse stakeholder groups, and help organizations embrace new ways of working.
  • Self-Starter Who Can Operate Autonomously with Little Direction, Fast Pace, and Ambiguity - You take ownership without waiting for direction, thrive in rapidly changing environments, and consistently identify opportunities to improve processes, solve problems, and move work forward.

Responsibilities

  • Become a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, nursing leaders, and operational stakeholders as they redesign how labor is planned, staffed, and managed across their health systems.

  • Develop a predictable launch motion for new system integrations, including greenfield HRIS and payroll builds.
  • Partner directly with Go-to-Market and Customer Success on the internal flows, tools, and processes that drive long-term client success.
  • Work with Product, Design, and Engineering to build and iterate on new product lines, driving ARR growth through expansion.
  • Build new deployment systems, tools, and operating processes as Vitalize scales from dozens to hundreds of hospitals.
