About The Position

Government technology has failed citizens, public servants, and service members for decades. Kaizen powers America’s application layer by replacing legacy systems with modern software. They build systems of record with significant national consequence, utilizing AI-native modules to achieve rapid development cycles. Founded in 2022 and based in New York City and DC, Kaizen has secured significant funding from prominent venture capital firms.

  • Technical fluency: comfortable working with APIs, data models, and system configurations, and able to discuss integration tradeoffs with engineers.
  • Experience translating customer requirements into implementation plans and technical workflows.
  • Comfort operating inside classified or otherwise accredited environments, or a clear ability to quickly learn new compliance and data-handling constraints.
