The Deployed Systems Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical assistance and training to end users and Contractors, as well as defining specifications for engineers. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with both networked and wireless capabilities. The position is a vital component of the current operational footprint, requiring a specialist capable of navigating complex, high-stakes environments with minimal oversight. The role involves updating and maintaining Commercial Solutions for Classified, wireless (NIPR, SIPR and Gray), Executive Comms Kits, and Certification Authority Management. Responsibilities include installing, configuring, operating, maintaining, defending, updating, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing deployed systems and networks, providing subject matter expertise, and conducting training for deployed personnel, end users, designers, and contractors. Continuous training on assigned systems is expected, along with assisting end users and contractors with jobsite failure analysis and hands-on work assignments. Some positions may require shift work or non-standard work schedules to support the USSOCOM mission. Subject matter expertise in MANET/MESH and Data Mesh architectures, along with hands-on experience with tactical MANET radios, is required.
