About The Position

In this role, you’ll be part of a dynamic support group responsible for maintaining and continually improving the Bureau’s Quality Assurance and Training functions. Our team members take on a wide range of responsibilities, including: Collaborating and communicating with staff across the Bureau, Researching and presenting new performance metrics, Identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience, Supporting quality assurance initiatives and training efforts. Knowledge of Treasury systems and applications is highly desirable and will help you succeed from day one. Requirements

  • Departmental Technician 7: One year of experience performing administrative support activities equivalent to the 7-level in state service.
  • Departmental Technician 8: One year of experience performing administrative support activities equivalent to the 8-level in state service.
  • OR One year of experience as a technician or paraprofessional equivalent to the entry level in state service.
  • Departmental Technician E9: One year of experience as a supervisor of administrative support activities equivalent to the 9-level in state service.
  • OR One year of experience performing administrative support activities equivalent to the 9-level in state service.
  • OR Two years of experience as a technician or paraprofessional, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate level in state service.
  • Work must be performed in the state of Michigan.
  • If you are a State of Michigan resident, this position is eligible to work remotely.
  • The selected candidate must have a secure, safe and appropriate designated workspace that allows privacy and prevents distractions while performing the duties of this position, as well as secure and sufficient internet access of commercial cable or wireless broadband with minimum speeds of 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
  • The use of artificial intelligence (AI) software of any kind is prohibited in all areas of the selection process, including, but not limited to, responses to application questions, and responses to interview questions or exercises.
