About The Position
The Michigan State Lottery is seeking a dependable, honest, motivated, and hardworking individual with a positive attitude and strong ethical standards to join their team. This position serves as the Contracts and Directives Specialist, responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end procurement process. This includes developing requests for proposals and information, formulating policies and procedures, researching products and services, and overseeing and issuing contracts. The role acts as the agency's point of contact, providing detailed analysis and contract information, and serves as a liaison between DTMB Procurement and other agencies to coordinate procurement activities. The position also coordinates with agency divisions to effectively manage all contracts, research contract fulfillments, and identify best practices from other lotteries and businesses. Additionally, the specialist will oversee records management efforts for the Lottery, including developing document management strategies and providing system oversight.
Requirements
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major
- Four years of professional experience
- Two years of experience equivalent to the experienced (P11) level
- One year of experience equivalent to the advanced (12) level
- Submission to and passing of an initial background check
- Submission to and passing of a pre-employment drug test
- Passing a criminal history background check
