Requirements

  • Proficient in the operations of EPS
  • Problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Tools such as Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • Able to multi-task
  • Must provide excellent customer service
  • Should be able to type proficiently (greater than 40 words per minute)
  • Must have a strong understanding of Pharmacy Operations
  • Must have excellent listening skills

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Licensed Pharmacy Technician.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician, tech specialist preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of the EPS pharmacy application with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.

Responsibilities

  • Performing Tier 2 business support to store teams running EPS.
  • Acting as a liaison to IT support at both the Tier 2 and Tier 3 level.
  • Testing EPS development releases.
  • Participating in development releases as part of a project team.
  • Performing user acceptance testing on EPS.
  • Writing test plans.
  • Answering EPS Procedural Questions.
  • Troubleshooting Procedural questions vs. Software Errors.
  • Performing Tier 2 Business support via direct store calls, call escalations from the Tier 1 service desk, and from other central support areas.
  • Communicating with store teams regarding program enhancements.
  • Performing testing on EPS release cycles.
  • Supporting other central support areas on EPS functions.
  • Demonstrating competence and desire to assist store teams on many operational issues.
  • Handling projects with little to no direction.
  • Handling negative feedback and turning it into a positive outcome.
  • Demonstrating a willingness and ability to learn and develop strong EPS testing skills.
  • Demonstrating a willingness and ability to learn how to effectively create comprehensive test plans that can be utilized by other team members.
