About The Position

Overhead Door Company of St. Louis™, a DH Pace Company, Inc. aspires to hire a Department Manager in our St. Louis, MO office! The department manager will direct business operations of the Commercial install department with the objective to create, foster, and maintain safety-conscious, positive employee relations using a lead by example approach, effective communication, coaching, training, and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, highly preferred and a minimum of four (4) years of experience managing personnel; an equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered
• Responsible for communicating with customers to ensure satisfaction levels consistently exceed expectations
• Review customer survey data, respond to customer concerns
• Must be committed to a high standard of safety, and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and policies
• Must possess a Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
• Ability to work on-site at our St. Louis, MO location

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the commercial door install department
• Promote and participate in process improvements, looking for opportunities to do things more effectively and efficiently
• Communicate regularly with members of management to review business results, share observations, and provide feedback
• Communicate with customers, ensuring the highest quality of service has been provided
• Improve individual performance of the field force you manage through daily, monthly and yearly performance reviews
• Manage, provide leadership for, and develop staff through effective communication, coaching, training, and development for continued success and/or for future advancement
• Lead monthly sales and performance department meetings
• Other duties as assigned by Manager
