This role involves assisting with the unloading of incoming trucks and putting away merchandise as directed by management. The Department Head is expected to execute daily operational goals and priorities set by the store manager, working with an "Ace Pace." Responsibilities include removing promotional bin tags and restocking merchandise displays, paying attention to end caps and side wings. The position also handles special orders for non-stock items and requires providing excellent customer service, never telling a customer 'no' without consulting a manager. Additionally, the role involves monitoring for shoplifters and acting in accordance with Elder's policy to discourage theft, recognizing that excellent customer service is a deterrent. Responding to radio requests and performing other duties as assigned are also part of the job.
