About The Position

This role involves assisting with the daily operations of the store, including unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, and managing special orders. The position requires excellent customer service skills and adherence to company policies, including those related to shoplifting prevention. The Department Head will also be responsible for responding to radio requests and performing other duties as assigned by the store manager.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of retail experience.
• Technically proficient in computer systems including related software.
• Ability to gather and analyze data and maintain accurate records.
• Ability to take initiative, assume responsibility, and execute thoroughly.
• Ability to interact with staff at all levels of the organization.
• Possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) verbal and written communication skills strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming trucks and put away merchandise.
• Execute daily operational goals and priorities assigned by the store manager.
• Remove promotional bin tags from displays/price tags as required.
• Restock merchandise displays and monitor end caps and side wings.
• Handle special orders for all non-stock items.
• Provide excellent customer service and interaction.
• Respond to radio requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
