About The Position

Provides guided walking tours in English and/or Chinese. Assists guests throughout the tour, answering questions whenever possible. Receives guest arrival information and provides initial greeting and orientation. Welcome and thank you for your interest in a job at BYU–Hawaii. Requirements

Must be able to speak, read and write in English and Chinese.
Must have a basic knowledge about the various cultural areas encountered during the tour.
Requires good health and a voice that can endure up to four hours of speaking in any given time frame.
Must be capable of a full range of body movement and be capable of moving freely among the guests.
Should be a high school graduate or the equivalent.
No prior work experience required.
Must attach Resume and Current class schedule (weekly view).
Must exemplify the university Honor Code, including the Dress and Grooming Principles and Expectations.
All applicants must be available for an on-site interview at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie, HI.
