Requirements

  • Education appropriate to the specialty area.
  • Required degree, certification, credentials, and/or licensure must be maintained as applicable.
  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge of department operations, technical practices, regulatory requirements, and workflow within the area of expertise.

Nice To Haves

  • Five or more years of experience in the applicable specialty area is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides support and expertise for department projects, process improvements, and operational needs.
  • Assists with the development, review, and implementation of procedures, protocols, and workflows.
  • Serves as a resource to department leadership and staff on complex technical or operational issues.
  • Supports special projects where advanced knowledge or previous department experience is beneficial.
  • Provides education, training, and knowledge transfer to staff as needed.
  • Assists with regulatory, accreditation, and quality initiatives related to their area of expertise.
  • Maintains current knowledge in their specialty through continuing education and applicable certification or licensure.
