This is a hybrid position and allows for one day of remote work per week based on business needs. As a Department Computer Support Specialist 2, you will provide a broad range of technical support to departmental staff in the Information Technology-related areas of desktop support, web development, hardware and network setup, testing, security, inventory, and troubleshooting. This role requires active and early engagement in incidents around the County, and you should be comfortable working in the field and liaising with first responders. Throughout the onboarding process, you will meet with the Supervisors, teams, and the admin team regularly to discuss expectations, set goals, identify priorities, and gain familiarity with current policies, procedures, and strategic measures.
