Job Posting Title: Department Assistant (Engineering) Location: Dallas - Hospital Additional Posting Details: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities Assist with the daily operation of a wide variety of activities within the Engineering Department Answer the department’s phones and confidently respond to the caller’s requests or inquiries Greet visitors in a professional and friendly manner Supervise the operation of the Engineering Office, Ticket assignment updates and contract requests Communicate pertinent information in a timely manner to department staff and director Manage many tasks in various stages of completion simultaneously Relay information correctly Prepare correspondence accurately, promptly, and neatly File paperwork correctly and systematically for efficient retrieval Demonstrate knowledge of safe and effective use of office equipment Prepare accurate monthly reports neatly and in a timely manner Provide support with purchasing and or requesting items/information for Engineering staff Assist with special projects and assignments Maintain Engineering kitchen and order supplies for use by guests and staff as necessary Monitor workroom to maintain a neat appearance Maintain office calendar and events Prioritize daily work to maximize efficiency Work with confidential information in a professional and responsible manner Required Skills/Abilities High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 2 years of experience preferred Knowledge of office procedures Proficient typing and strong Word/Excel skills needed At Scottish Rite for Children, we work together with the common goal of helping give children back their childhood. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
  • Knowledge of office procedures
  • Proficient typing and strong Word/Excel skills needed
