This Federal Work Study position will support current students in the Accessibility Resources department. The role involves providing onboarding and training to students with disabilities on assistive technology, researching and creating resource handouts for mental health, wellness, time management, study techniques, and helpful applications. Additionally, the position will work on projects to educate the campus community about students with disabilities and universal design. This role is designed to complement and reinforce a Federal Work Study student’s educational program or vocational goals by teaching the importance of universal design and access, task prioritization, meeting deadlines, working autonomously as part of a team, learning administrative and customer service skills, and the importance of research and information dissemination.
