About The Position

Providence Community Health Centers (PCHC) is recruiting for a Dentist in Providence, Rhode Island. PCHC is a large, innovative Federally Qualified Health Center in Rhode Island with 500 employees serving 80,000 patients across the city of Providence. The PCHC Dental Clinic is a striking 3-story establishment designed with natural light and modern amenities. It features 31 operatories, including 9 private suites equipped with nitrous oxide capabilities, and two dental laboratories. A dedicated team of 50 professionals, including dentists, registered dental hygienists, and dental assistants, is committed to serving a diverse and multicultural patient base from underserved communities across Providence. The position involves providing preventive and restorative services in dentistry, promoting optimum oral health, and meeting clinical standards of productivity.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of Dentistry
Licensed to practice dentistry in the state of Rhode Island.
Maintain on-going professional education and certification as mandated by specialty board or state regulation.

Responsibilities

Provide preventive and restorative services in dentistry, promoting optimum oral health.
Meet clinical standards of productivity as specified by the Department of
Provide direct care to scheduled patients and/or walk-in patients when necessary, in accordance with PCHC policies and state statutes and regulations
Provide consultation to other health care providers.
Participate in scheduled meetings for case management or quality improvement.
Consult and collaborate with other center staff.
