Under the general supervision of the Dental Director, Joseph Samuels Dental Center, the Dentist provides direct clinical services following policies and procedures in the provision of dental care to a special needs patient population. This population includes individuals with intellectual disabilities, pediatric patients, and high-risk inpatients and outpatients, including those with contagious and communicable diseases. The Dentist will perform all dental procedures per their delineation of privileges, ensuring all essential functions reflect the age-specific needs of the patients.
