About The Position

Providence Community Health Centers is recruiting for Dentists in Providence, Rhode Island. This role offers an opportunity to join a mission-driven organization dedicated to serving underserved populations and improving community health. Dentists will work in a collaborative environment alongside a dedicated team of dentists, hygienists, and support staff. The practice is in well-equipped, recently expanded facilities with access to advanced technology and resources. The primary responsibilities include providing preventive and restorative services in dentistry, promoting optimum oral health, and meeting clinical standards of productivity as specified by the Department of Health and Human Services, as well as standards assessed by PCHC, based on financial and quality standards. Current opportunities are available for both part-time (24 hours) and full-time (40 hours) positions.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of Dentistry
Licensed to practice dentistry in the state of Rhode Island.
Maintain on-going professional education and certification as mandated by specialty board or state regulation.
Experience in pediatric dentistry

Nice To Haves

Experience in primary care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care to scheduled patients and/or walk-in patients when necessary, in accordance with PCHC policies and state statutes and regulations
Provide consultation to other health care providers.
Participate in scheduled meetings for case management or quality improvement.
Consult and collaborate with other center staff.
Participate in any formulation and evaluation of applicable protocols
