About The Position

This notice is provided as a result of the filing of an application for permanent alien labor certification for the job opportunity described below. This role involves the diagnosis and treatment of oral disease, supervision of dental staff, patient care, and participation in an emergency call system. The position also includes supervisory duties such as communicating strategic direction, providing leadership, monitoring objectives, and managing team members. Telehealth services may also be provided.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Dentistry.
  • Licensed as a Registered Dentist in the State of Missouri.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Successful completion of background check.

Responsibilities

  • Helps evaluate and supervise over dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other assigned personnel.
  • Diagnosis and treatment of oral disease.
  • Accurately documents information in patient records.
  • Attends to the needs of patients with the utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding.
  • Diagnosis, preventative dentistry, pedodontics, periodontics, removable prosthodontics, endodontics, fixed prosthodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.
  • Helps provide in-house dental training.
  • Helps evaluate and supervise hygienists, dental assistants, and other assigned personnel.
  • Participates in the emergency call system.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Dental Leadership.
  • Communicate the strategic direction of the organization and encourage participation by all team members.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to all aspects of the department.
  • Take an active role in monitoring the identification, development, and execution of strategic objectives.
  • Involve, as appropriate, all team members to achieve goals.
  • Effectively communicate to team members any changes and newsworthy events within the department or company.
  • Handle difficult team member situations directly, using appropriate discretion and Human Resource advice to show respect for the individual.
  • Champion change and effectively manage the implementation of new ideas.
  • Reinforces team approach throughout functions; support and solicit input from team members at all levels within the company.
  • May provide telehealth services to the individuals we serve.
