About The Position

Rural Health Group seeks a General Dentist committed to providing excellent quality oral health care in our patient-centered medical/dental home clinics. The Dentist will work at our Jackson, NC dental office. Each location has six operatories with state-of-the-art dental equipment including digital imaging. We use eClinicalWorks (eCW) for electronic dental records and practice management. This role involves a mix of adult and pediatric patients. The schedule for dentists is typically four 10-hour days per week. Rural Health Group is a Federally Qualified Community Health Center dedicated to serving the region’s underserved. As a Community Health Center, we see anyone - all ages, all backgrounds – with special emphasis on the underserved. We serve people of all insurance statuses: NC Medicaid, NC Health Choice, private insurance, and the uninsured. We seek individuals committed to a rural practice with the desire to establish roots in the community.

Requirements

  • NC Licensed Dentist
  • At least one year of experience or residency is strongly preferred; new graduates will be considered.
  • Demonstrate the Rural Health Group Core Competencies: Good Judgment, Communication/Customer Service/Teamwork, Passion, Honesty, Responsibility, Job-Specific Skill Set.
  • Federal and State Criminal Background Checks and Drug Screen required.
  • Influenza vaccine is a condition of employment.
  • Completion of an I-9 form and presentation of documentation of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
