Requirements

  • 3+ years as a Dental Treatment Coordinator or sales-focused dental role
  • Proven track record of presenting and closing treatment plans
  • Strong knowledge of dental procedures, patient education, and treatment coordination
  • Proficiency in union insurance, in-network and out-of-network billing, and third-party financing
  • Exceptional communication, persuasion, and closing skills
  • Highly organized with strong multitasking and time management ability
  • Patient-first mindset with a drive to maximize both satisfaction and office revenue

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Open Dental strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Asana, Zoom, and Google Suite a plus

Responsibilities

  • Present comprehensive treatment plans clearly and confidently, collaborating closely with the clinical team
  • Drive treatment acceptance using proven sales techniques and patient-centered communication
  • Educate patients on financial options including CareCredit, Lending Club, and Sunbit
  • Support in-network and out-of-network insurance billing, breakdowns, and collections
  • Assist with accounts receivable and patient and insurance follow-up
  • Manage scheduling, case coordination, and administrative responsibilities across a fast-paced office
  • Build lasting patient relationships that drive retention and referrals
