About The Position

The Dental Sterilization Technician maintains dental equipment and supports cleaning, infection control, and sterilization of instruments in the Dental department. The position reports to the Manager. It is full-time, scheduled Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; days and hours may vary. Weekly earned wage access is available as an option.

Requirements

• Six months of experience using computer applications, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dental equipment logs and send monthly reports.
• Inventory carts and replenish supplies.
• Clean and disinfect dental treatment areas after each patient.
• Replace infection control barriers in dental units after cleaning.
• Perform required maintenance on dental equipment as recommended by the manufacturer.
• Prevent cross-contamination by following infection control standards and sterilizing and disinfecting dental instruments according to company policies, procedures, and manufacturer recommendations.
• Perform clerical responsibilities and assist with patient service needs.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
