About The Position

MedPro Group, an industry-leading Berkshire Hathaway insurance company, is seeking a Dental Sales Associate. This role involves acting as the primary lead in converting new dental school graduate opportunities into sales, leading presentations with dental students to improve new business efforts, and managing the policy and endorsement issuance process for assigned Dental accounts. The associate will be responsible for meeting annual new business targets and hit ratios, building and executing the Dental Division strategic plan, and analyzing the market for targeted growth opportunities. Additionally, the role includes leading direct oral surgeons’ sales efforts, assisting in cross-selling efforts, managing dental association relationships, developing infrastructure with partners to maximize new business, supporting independent agent relationships at organized dental events, contributing to special projects, and providing ongoing support to Distribution Partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field.
  • A self-starter attitude with excellent organization, management and sales/negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel and speak throughout the country at dental student/resident events.
  • Strong oral/presentation, written communication and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with querying, aggregating, and manipulating sales data to structure effective presentations.
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales related position (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary lead on converting new dental school graduate opportunities into sales.
  • Lead presentations with dental students, to improve student new business efforts.
  • Own the process of policy and endorsement issuance for all assigned Dental accounts.
  • Meet annual, new business targets and hit ratios.
  • Build and execute the Dental Division strategic plan.
  • Analyze market for targeted growth opportunities.

  • Assist in cross selling efforts on direct book of business.
  • Assist with dental association relationship management.

  • Contribute to special projects on cross-functional teams.
  • Provide support to Distribution Partners on an ongoing basis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
