About The Position

We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dedicated team. You’ll be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a vital role in creating an exceptional patient experience and supporting the smooth operation of our practice. We are a patient-focused specialty practice committed to providing exceptional endodontic care in a compassionate and welcoming environment. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year customer service, healthcare, scheduling or patient-facing experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications

Nice To Haves

• Experience with dental practice management software
• Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment
• Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations
• Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
• Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed
• Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned
