About The Position

Full-time Dental Front Desk position at the Henderson location. The starting pay is $17.00 per hour, with no weekend work required. Dental office experience is preferred. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus but not required. This position offers the potential for on-the-job training to become a Dental Assistant if desired. The successful candidate must demonstrate the Rural Health Group Core Competencies, including Good Judgment, Communication/Customer Service/Teamwork, Passion, Honesty, and Responsibility. A Job-Specific Skill Set is also required, encompassing the knowledge, skills, and ability to fulfill the responsibilities of a Dental Receptionist.

Requirements

  • Experience (front and/or back) in a dental office.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a potentially stressful environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents.
  • Possess knowledge of modern office equipment, Microsoft Office software programs.
  • Ability to efficiently learn eCW.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Federal and State Criminal Background Checks and Drug Screen required.
  • Influenza vaccine is a condition of employment.
  • Complete an I-9 form and present documentation of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Dental office experience is preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus but not required.
  • CPR certification (training will be provided after hire if not already certified).

Responsibilities

  • Fulfill the responsibilities of a Dental Receptionist.
  • Apply common sense understanding when carrying out detailed written or oral instructions.
  • Establish and maintain positive, effective, professional relationships with patients, providers, coworkers, and superiors.
  • Respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Work independently and demonstrate excellent teamwork skills.
  • Translate if serving in a translating capacity (requires language assessment).
