About The Position

The team at Milton Pediatric Dentistry located in Milton, ON are looking for a passionate, hard-working Dental Receptionist on a full-time temporary basis with possibility of a permanent position. The ideal Dental Receptionist for our team enjoys working collaboratively with others and behind the scenes to organize, implement systems and structure and ensure the practice runs efficiently. Our mission is to provide the highest quality dental care for children and teens. The practice centers around empathy and kindness for every child and family. We strongly believe that a child’s early positive experiences will allow them to develop great attitudes towards oral health care and treatment into adulthood. Prevention and education at each check up is at the core of our practice. Educating parent and child on the importance of dental health and teaching them how to prevent dental disease and minimize the risks are extremely important to us. Whether it is while doing treatment or just an exam we respect every child’s individual personality and potential anxiety. We use our expertise to manage behavioral and anxiety related situations. We do everything we can to ensure that every child has a positive experience. The perfect candidate for this position is a Dental Administrator with great communication skills, ability to multi task. Our practice is very family friendly so someone with a warm and friendly disposition will be well suited.

Requirements

• Experience as a Dental Administrator/Administrative Assistant
• Great communication skills
• Ability to multi task
• Warm and friendly disposition
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
• High Customer service mindset

Nice To Haves

• Completion of a Dental Administration or Dental Assisting Program/Certificate
• Experience with dental practice management software such as [Dentrix]
