About The Position
The University of Louisville School of Dentistry is seeking a Dental Receptionist to work at the UofL Dental Kosair for Kids practice located at 982 Eastern Parkway, Louisville, KY 40217.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and one or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and work experience.
Responsibilities
- Works with faculty, peers, and supervisors to deliver customer service oriented and patient centered care.
- As the first point of contact with the patient, checks patients in daily, confirming their contact information, current insurance, and consent forms, and registering new patients when needed.
- Verifies insurance and details benefit coverage for patients when appropriate.
- Conducts financial transactions, accepts and posts payments, issues receipts, and balances cash drawer at end of day.
- Creates, reviews, and manages payment plans with patients.
- Answers the phone in a timely and professional manner, managing a multi-line system.
- Schedules patient appointments as necessary.
- Maintains HIPAA, OSHA and Infection Control compliance at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
