Requirements

Strong computer skills and confidence learning systems quickly
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Professional, positive, service-focused attitude
Team player who works well with others
2+ years of experience in a direct customer-facing role
Dental office experience preferred
Experience with insurance verification, posting insurance and EOBs required

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with dental practice management software is a plus

Responsibilities

Answering patient calls throughout the day
Scheduling and confirming appointments
Checking patients in and out
Verifying patient insurance benefits and eligibility prior to appointments
Reviewing and documenting patient financial and insurance responsibility with 100% accuracy
Collecting payments for services performed
Managing the daily patient schedule
Reaching out to patients due for treatment or hygiene visits
Using scheduling tools to fill cancellations and past-due appointments
Following up on outstanding and past insurance claims as needed
Posting insurance payments and EOBs accurately
Collecting past-due balances
Supporting the team during morning huddles and throughout the day
