About The Position
Promise Healthcare is seeking a Dental Operations Manager who is excited to split their time between leading high-performing teams and delivering hands-on clinical care. This is a unique hybrid opportunity to lead operations and stay connected to patient care, expand access to dental services for underserved populations, drive innovation in an integrated care model (medical + behavioral health + dental), and shape the future of dental services within a growing FQHC. This position is intentionally designed as 50% Operations Leadership and 50% clinical service delivery.
Requirements
- Dental professional (RDH/PHDH)
- Experience in dental practice operations or leadership
- Strong team leadership and coaching skills
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with FQHCs, PPS, or community health
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across dental clinic sites
- Optimize scheduling, productivity, and patient flow
- Lead, coach, and support dental teams
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with FQHC, HRSA, and regulatory standards
- Support program growth, including mobile and community-based services
- Provide direct patient care consistent with licensure (e.g., hygienist, dental assistant/EFDA)
- Model high-quality, patient-centered care
- Support care team integration and best practices
