About The Position

Worcester Dental Arts is seeking an experienced Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our patient-focused dental practice. You’ll be joining an experienced team in a well-established practice with strong systems and operational support already in place. This role plays a key leadership position within the practice and works closely with providers and leadership to support schedule efficiency, case acceptance, and overall practice performance. Prior Dental Office Manager experience is required; candidates without this experience will not be considered.

Requirements

  • Prior Dental Office Manager experience required
  • Hands-on experience with dental insurance processes, billing, and patient financial coordination
  • Proven ability to lead and support administrative teams in a fast-paced dental practice environment
  • Experience managing HR-related matters within the office
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing provider schedules and supporting efficient patient flow
  • Ability to review and interpret practice performance reports including production, collections, and scheduling metrics

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with dental practice management software preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the dental office to ensure an organized, efficient, and patient-centered environment
  • Lead and support front office and administrative team members while fostering a positive, collaborative team culture
  • Manage and optimize the provider schedule to support productivity, efficient patient flow, and a positive patient experience
  • Responsible for insurance verification, billing processes, and patient financial communication to ensure accuracy and clarity
  • Run and review key practice reports to monitor scheduling efficiency, production, collections, and overall office performance
  • Review and confirm employee timecards, hours worked, and PTO to ensure accurate payroll submission
  • Support treatment plan presentation and case acceptance through effective patient communication, financial coordination, and scheduling follow-through
  • Collaborate closely with providers and leadership to support practice goals, patient satisfaction, and overall office performance
  • Participate in weekly and monthly meetings to collaborate with leadership and stay aligned on KPI’s
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
