The manager supervises the on-site laboratory, regulating quality of work, production, and maintenance. They also supervise the office team, managing scheduling, patient flow, office cleanliness, and compliance with legal requirements like OSHA and HIPAA. Key responsibilities include dental team development, building positive relationships, managing schedules to meet daily goals, motivating team members, and proactively seeking practice improvements. The manager handles all front and back-office tasks, including employee and patient relations, performance management, and achieving operational goals. Revenue goals are met by overseeing patient scheduling, staff productivity, and treatment planning coordination. The role involves working with the Doctor and patients to ensure treatment plan completion, addressing patient barriers, alerting the Doctor to clinical questions, and educating patients on insurance benefits and payment options. Resolving patient complaints professionally and other duties as assigned are also part of the role.
