About The Position

The General Manager is the leader of the office and is responsible for all areas including operations, finance, performance, and employee and personal development. This role requires a strong work ethic, energy, determination, intelligence, leadership skills, communication skills, sales skills, and excellent attendance. The ideal candidate must be skilled in a variety of areas, results-oriented, and dedicated to delighting the patient.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information
  • Excellent organizational, administrative, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact and communicate with senior management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective verbal and listening communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the on-site laboratory, regulating quality of work, production, and maintenance/cleanliness.
  • Supervise the office team, including scheduling/patient flow, maintenance and cleanliness of the office, and verification of compliance with patient charts and legal requirements (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA mandates).
  • Manage patient care and patient experiences, including developing and maintaining a friendly and efficient office environment geared towards delighting the patient, assisting with or completing all patient consultations, and resolving patient complaints professionally and with care.
  • Open and close the office daily, maintain the clean building and property appearance, and ensure sufficient office supplies.
  • Maintain and understand HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
  • Ensure that daily revenue reports are accurate and submitted timely.
  • Ensure daily deposits are made at the bank.
  • Manage expenses on the financial statement, including payroll, dental supplies, and advertising.
  • Report invoices to accounting weekly.
  • Manage petty cash daily with reports to accounting as required.
  • Hire and train staff for the office, ensuring every team member is adequately trained for their position.
  • Administer disciplinary actions as needed for team members.
  • Submit payroll data timely for all office team members.
  • Motivate the team to delight the patient in all phases of the office.
  • Keep doctors abreast of all key practice activities, challenges, and successes while assisting in maintaining positive outcomes.
