About The Position

NDX Davis Dental Laboratory in Wyoming, Michigan, is hiring a motivated Dental Lab Technician Trainee. No dental experience is required; paid training is provided, with opportunities for advancement in a team environment. The position involves preparing and articulating dental models, reviewing case information, and maintaining a clean work area.

The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., though hours may change from time to time. This is a full-time position with employee benefits.

Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
• Detail-oriented.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentists.
• Pour models from impressions received from doctors using the proper material.
• Place models on the appropriate type of articulator using the correct technique.
• Articulate models using bites sent by the doctor or by hand-articulating to achieve the correct bite relationship.
• Check each case for correct doctor information, finish date, product, metal type, and fabrication questions requiring a call the next day.
• Clean the work area daily.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
