Dental Lab Technician (Denture Model)
About The Position
Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab Technician (Denture Model) opportunity at NDX Rogers Dental Laboratory in Athens, TN. This is a trainee position that requires no experience. Hands-on, paid training is provided. The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Fridays, and subject to change from time to time. Requirements
- Knowledge tooth anatomy
- Ability to articulate according to Rx
- Knowledge of materials (i.e. stones, acrylic)
- Identify through Impressions margins
- No experience required; we offer paid / on the job training
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 12 months of experience as a Dental Laboratory Technician and is skilled in one or more of the tasks associated with a Dental Laboratory Technician
Responsibilities
- Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist
- Model work for fixed and removable cases
- Processing
- Investing and packing dentures, partials, night guards
- All other duties as assigned
