Dental Lab Processor Technician
About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented Dental Laboratory Processor Technician to support the fabrication of high-quality dental prosthetics for patients. This position is responsible for performing essential dental laboratory processing tasks, including pouring and trimming denture models, articulating cases, polishing dentures, and assisting with other laboratory procedures. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with their hands, has strong hand-eye coordination, and can maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced, team-oriented dental laboratory environment. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Confident and comfortable working with your hands.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Mechanical ability and/or artistic ability.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental laboratory environment.
- Comfortable working as part of a team to complete dental cases.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple laboratory tasks.
- Willingness to learn new dental laboratory techniques and procedures.
- Understanding of OSHA protocols and laboratory safety practices.
- Willingness to cross-train in all areas of the dental laboratory.
- Dependable, motivated, and eager to develop technical skills in dental prosthetics.
Nice To Haves
- 0–6 months of experience trimming and pouring denture models preferred.
- Previous plaster bench experience preferred.
- Prior dental laboratory, dental assisting, manufacturing, or hands-on technical experience is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Pour dental impressions into plaster to create accurate denture models.
- Trim and prepare plaster models for further laboratory processing.
- Articulate dental cases according to established laboratory procedures.
- Polish dentures and dental prosthetics to meet quality standards.
- Assist with the preparation and processing of dental prosthetics.
- Perform various dental laboratory duties as assigned.
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout all stages of laboratory production.
- Follow established OSHA protocols and dental laboratory safety procedures.
- Cross-train in other areas of the dental laboratory as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory work environment.
- Work collaboratively with dental laboratory technicians and team members to complete cases efficiently.
