About The Position

Responsible for building, contouring, and staining and glazing esthetic anterior and posterior restorations, including layered porcelain, monolithic zirconia, and lithium disilicate, in a productive environment. The role involves reviewing case paperwork and dentist prescriptions, preparing and processing restorations, meeting production and quality timelines, and following safety procedures and standard operating procedures. The position performs tasks primarily at one work station and includes routine equipment maintenance, workplace cleaning, and participation in company training and meetings.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to stay organized and manage work based on work tickets, dentist preferences, and due dates.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
• Ability to meet assigned production levels, quality standards, and timelines.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and depth perception.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail.
• Ability to perform precision work with small hand tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read and review case paperwork, prescriptions, and specifications; clarify questions with the supervisor.
• Confirm all required items are present and in suitable condition.
• Choose the correct porcelain.
• Build and contour restorations to the correct anatomical contour, blend, and occlusion.
• Fire restorations at the correct temperature and add material when necessary.
• Steam-clean required items.
• Place units back onto dies and models, and return items to the proper pan.
• Complete cases according to the work-ticket schedule and notify the supervisor of late cases.
• Scan and initial cases as required.
• Follow safety rules, regulations, and standard operating procedures.
• Perform tasks at one primary work station.
• Manipulate small items and hand tools; operate a sandblasting unit and steam cleaner.
• Perform custom shading.
• Perform and document routine scheduled preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Participate in company-sponsored training and meetings as required.

• Clean the work area daily.
• Perform other duties as required and assigned.
